Lake Erie Ohio
A Great Lake Charter Boats

DB SPORT FISHING AND SUNSET CRUISING CHARTER FLEET SERVICE
Today, Lake Erie vacationers enjoy fishing, boating and swimming along the extensive sand beaches at Headlands Beach , Geneva on the Lake and Cleveland Lakefront .
There is no more vivid reminder of the awesome forces of nature than Lake Erie itself. This great
body of water is the direct result of the continental glacier s that receded from Ohio about 10,000 years ago. Evidence of their passing can be seen in the glacial grooves gouged into solid rock on Kelley's Island . Smaller scratches or striations can be found in the limestone at East Harbor . Camping at these two parks brings the visitor right to the shores of Lake Erie.
During the years following the glacier's melting, the lake gradually receded in size. The resultant marshes and swamps in the old lake bed and ancient sand beaches can be seen at Crane Lake, where waterfowl and animal life abound.
